Christian Devotional Song With Lyrics | "Quieting Myself Before God"

Christian Devotional Song With Lyrics | "Quieting Myself Before God"

Verse 1
I quiet myself before God,
pray and bare my heart to Him.
I simply and honestly open up,
speak from the heart.
I hand my difficulties and shortcomings over to God
and look to Him.

May God enlighten and illuminate me
to understand His will.
Through sincere seeking,
I gain the Holy Spirit’s light in me.
Understanding the truth,
I gain discernment and have a path of practice.
With God’s guidance I live in the light,
my heart is full of joy and sweetness.
I quiet myself before God.

Questions and Answers on the Way of Eternal Life

Question: You say only those who obey the will of God receive the way of everlasting life. After we started believing in the Lord, we suffered and paid a price to spread the Lord’s gospel. We’ve shepherded the Lord’s flock, taken up the cross and followed the Lord, practiced humbleness, patience, and tolerance. Are you saying we haven’t been following God’s will? We know if we continue, we will become holy, and be raptured to the kingdom of heaven. Is this way of understanding and practice wrong?

love God, the truth, God’s work, God's will

Answer: You have the notion that if you labor, sacrifice, or do good deeds, you are obeying God’s will. But are these imagined notions of yours after God’s heart? Do they have a basis in God’s word? Let’s see what the Lord Jesus said: The Lord Jesus said: “Not every one that said to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name? and in your name have cast out devils? and in your name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess to them, I never knew you: depart from me, you that work iniquity” (Mat 7: 21-23). From the Lord Jesus’ words we can see that those who prophesy, cast out devils, and do many wonderful works in His name are the ones who suffer and do works for the Lord. They serve God, devote all their time to Him, and have many good behaviors. But, why does the Lord Jesus call them those who work iniquity? How should we understand this? By your notions, any who suffer and do work for the Lord and spend and sacrifice for Him are obeying God’s will. The chief priests, scribes, and Pharisees in Judaism also appeared to be very pious. They traveled far and wide to preach the gospel. So why did the Lord Jesus condemn and curse them? That’s something worth reflecting on, isn’t it? We can’t determine obedience to God’s will using the notions of man. True obedience to God’s will refers to people who can obey God’s work and words, practice God’s words, follow God’s commandments, and fulfill their duties according to God’s will and requirements. You say any who suffer and do work for the Lord are obeying God’s will. Then let’s evaluate them using the Lord Jesus’ requirements. What was the Lord Jesus’ most important requirement for man? “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like to it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself” (Mat 22:37-39). But are we doing this? Obeying God’s will means loving God with all our heart, soul, and mind. No matter how much work we do, or how much we suffer, there must be no personal ambition or impurity, we must be devoted purely to obeying and satisfying God, to carrying out God’s will. We must be happy to sacrifice everything for God, without demand for recompense. In the face of trials and tribulation from God, we must not complain or betray Him, and put ourselves at the mercy of God’s arrangements. Like Abraham, Job, and Peter, when God’s trials come, we must accept with utter obedience and without complaint or question, and bear good and resounding testimony for God. This is obedience to God’s will. Given those demands, it should be obvious whether or not we are people who truly obey the heavenly Father’s will.

We see many capable of suffering, doing work, and sacrifice after believing in the Lord, but in their suffering and sacrifice we find personal desire and ambition. They seek rewards, and to enter the kingdom of heaven. Isn’t this using and defrauding God? How is this practicing the truth to satisfy God? But there’s an even bigger tragedy going on. Even though the pastors and elders of the religious world often work and preach in their churches, and appear to do good acts from the outside, yet when Almighty God does the work of judgment in the last days, to protect their own position, influence, and income they wildly judge, condemn, and profane Almighty God, and try to stop the believers from investigating the true way. Don’t they make themselves enemies of God in doing this? How is this any different from the crimes of the Pharisees who resisted the Lord Jesus? These facts are enough to prove that people have no knowledge of God, that people’s satanic nature remains, and that people have not received the truth as life. Even those who can suffer, labor, and sacrifice for God do so to barter with God. They believe in God with the aim of gaining blessings for themselves. Such people are not practicing God’s words at all, and do not care for God’s will, much less are they testaments of obedience and love for God. How could such people be obeying God’s will? And how could they be qualified to enter the kingdom of heaven and gain everlasting life? Let’s read a passage from Almighty God: “I decide the destination of each person not on the basis of age, seniority, amount of suffering, and least of all, the degree to which they invite pity, but according to whether they possess the truth. There is no other choice but this. You must realize that all those who do not follow the will of God will be punished. This is an immutable fact” (“Prepare Sufficient Good Deeds for Your Destination” in The Word Appears in the Flesh). God decides the destination of each man not on the basis of how much work he does or suffering he undergoes, but on the basis of whether he possesses truth, practices God’s word, and obeys God’s will, because only those who obey God’s will are qualified to enter the kingdom of heaven and gain everlasting life. This is decided by God’s righteous disposition, and cannot be changed. So, we all need to reflect on the path we’ve taken to belief in God. Why, while we believe in and follow God, do we also sin and resist God? It’s caused entirely by the sinful nature hidden within us. With our sinful nature, it’s very difficult to truly obey and love God. Our sinful nature makes it hard to avoid trying to barter and gain blessings while we sacrifice for God. Our sinful nature creates complaints, negativity, and betrayal in us when faced with God’s trials. So, with our sinful nature, we can’t possibly become someone who obeys God’s will, and can’t become holy. It’s completely impossible! For us to truly obey God’s will and become holy, the problem of our sinful nature must be solved. Given that, if we don’t accept Almighty God’s work of judgment and chastisement in the last days, we will never be approved by God. If we don’t experience God’s work of judgment in the last days, we will never receive the truth, achieve change in our life disposition, or be after God’s heart. That’s a fact no one can deny.

God's voice | "The Substance of Christ Is Obedience to the Will of the Heavenly Father"

The Church of Almighty God | God's voice | "The Substance of Christ Is Obedience to the Will of the Heavenly Fath

Almighty God says, "The incarnate God is called Christ, and Christ is the flesh donned by the Spirit of God. This flesh is unlike any man that is of the flesh. This difference is because Christ is not of flesh and blood but is the incarnation of the Spirit. He has both a normal humanity and a complete divinity. His divinity is not possessed by any man. His normal humanity sustains all His normal activities in the flesh, while His divinity carries out the work of God Himself. Be it His humanity or divinity, both submit to the will of the heavenly Father. The substance of Christ is the Spirit, that is, the divinity. Therefore, His substance is that of God Himself; this substance will not interrupt His own work, and He could not possibly do anything that destroys His own work, nor would He ever utter any words that go against His own will."

What are the differences between the words expressed by the Lord Jesus in the Age of Grace and the words expressed by Almighty God in the Age of Kingdom?

Bible Verses for Reference:

Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand” (Mat 4:17).

“Then opened He their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, And said to them, Thus it is written, and thus it behooved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem” (Luk 24:45–47).

I have yet many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However, when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth: for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will show you things to come” (Jhn 16:12–13).

And if any man hear My words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejects Me, and receives not My words, has one that judges him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day” (Jhn 12:47–48).

2019 Inspirational Devotion: What Is Entering Into Rest?

By Zhongcheng

The Origin of Rest

It is recorded in the Bible, “And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had made; and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it He had rested from all His work which God created and made” (Genesis 2:2–3). In the beginning, God used six days to create the heavens, the earth, and all things within, and on the seventh day, when the work of creation was complete, He rested. God created the ancestors of mankind, Adam and Eve, placed them in the Garden of Eden, and told them to keep His rules. Adam and Eve listened to God, obeyed Him, and lived under God’s care and protection. They suffered no illness or pain, and had no troubles or anxieties. They lived carefree lives in the garden, and enjoyed their rest with God.

God's judgment, God’s work, word of God, God's will, The Kingdom Gospel,

Mankind Is Corrupted by Satan and Loses Its Rest

But, Adam and Eve lacked the truth and had no ability to discern good and evil. They listened to Satan’s temptation, ate the forbidden fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, betrayed God, and were cursed by God: Men were required to work bitterly to support their families, women suffered pain in childbirth and were placed under the control of their husbands. Afterward, Adam and Eve were driven out of the Garden of Eden, they lost their carefree lives, and thereafter they knew no rest. From then on, mankind lost God’s care and protection, lived under the influence of Satan, and was corrupted and harmed by Satan. People began to be envious of each other, fight one another, and kill one another, just like when Cain slew Abel because of jealousy over Abel’s offerings, which delighted God, as is recorded in the Bible. Slowly, mankind lost all place for God in their hearts, grew ever more distant from God, became arrogant, selfish, cunning, and evil, committed a growing number of sins, and even openly made themselves enemies of God, to the point that they did not permit God to exist. Finally, God used a flood to destroy this evil, corrupt mankind, with only Noah, his family of seven, and all the animals on the ark surviving.

To Save Mankind, God Ceases to Rest

After the destruction of the flood, Noah’s descendants continued to live and multiply on the earth. Although the people of the time knew how to feed, clothe, and house themselves, they had no knowledge of Jehovah God, did not know how to worship God or hold God above all, did not know how to satisfy the Lord of creation, as well as many other things. How could a humanity such as this satisfy God’s will? At the beginning, when God created mankind, He hoped that people would listen to His words, obey Him, manifest Him, and glorify Him, but at that time, mankind was far from being able to meet God’s requirements. So, God ceased to rest, and began the work of His management plan to save mankind. As the word of God says: “In the beginning, God was resting. There were no humans or anything else upon the earth at that time, and God had not done any work whatsoever. God only began His management work once humanity existed and once humanity had been corrupted. From this point on, God no longer rested but instead began to busy Himself among humanity” (“God and Man Will Enter Into Rest Together” in The Word Appears in the Flesh).

How Did She Find a Suitable Job Abroad Without Work Experience?

By Xing Yue, Italy

“Hello, please can I ask whether your restaurant is hiring any staff at the moment?”

“Can you speak a foreign language? Do you have work experience?”

“No, sorry, I don’t speak any foreign language and I don’t have any work experience.”

“In that case, I’m sorry. We need skilled workers, not interns at this time.”

When the telephone call ended, thoughts swirled through my mind: “Oh dear, this is the third call I’ve made today trying to find a job. If I can’t find a job, then I won’t be able to afford this month’s rent.”

My Roommate Gives Me Advice in My Fruitless Job Hunt

My roommate saw me sigh and came over. She said, “You’re too honest. Whenever you’re asked something, you always tell the truth, and you certainly won’t find a job that way. You have to learn to bend the truth a little. When someone asks you whether or not you can speak a foreign language, you say, ‘A little.’ When they ask you whether or not you have any work experience, you say, ‘I haven’t been working long.’ Wouldn’t that be better? Secure a job first and then think about honesty!” When I heard my roommate say this, I felt a little worried, and said, “But wouldn’t that be lying? I can only say simple greetings in a foreign language, and I’ve only worked in a restaurant for one evening, so I don’t really have any work experience at all. It’s not right to say things like that.” My roommate went on, saying, “Xing Yue, you’re too stubborn! You can learn languages and store up work experience gradually as you go along. Who would know that you’ve only worked in a restaurant for one evening if you didn’t tell them? You don’t have the money for rent right now, and if you don’t hurry up and find a job, then you won’t even be able to afford to live here at all.” My roommate’s advice began to sway me, and I thought: “She’s right. When I tell the truth, no manager wants to hire me. If I lied just once for the sake of providing for myself, surely that would be OK?” But then I thought of how God enjoins us many times in His words to be honest people, to always tell the truth and not to tell lies or try to deceive people. I am a Christian, and I knew I should take God’s words as the standards for how I live my life, for only in that way could I glorify and bear witness to God. “No,” I thought. “I’d best heed God’s words and be an honest person.”

The Word of God | "The Age of Kingdom Is the Age of Word" (Excerpt 1)

Almighty God says, "In the Age of Kingdom, God uses the word to usher in a new age, to change the method of His work, and to do the work for the entire age. This is the principle by which God works in the Age of Word. He became flesh to speak from different perspectives, enabling man to truly see God, who is the Word appearing in the flesh, and His wisdom and wondrousness. Such work is done in order better to achieve the goals of conquering man, perfecting man, and eliminating man. This is the true meaning of using the word to work in the Age of Word. Through the word, man comes to know the work of God, the disposition of God, the essence of man, and what man ought to enter into. Through the word, the work God wishes to do in the Age of Word is brought to fruition in its entirety. Through the word, man is revealed, eliminated, and tried. Man has seen the word, heard the word, and become aware of the existence of the word. As a result, he believes in the existence of God, in the omnipotence and wisdom of God, as well as in God's love for man and His desire to save man. Though the word “word” is simple and ordinary, the word from the mouth of the incarnate God shakes up the entire universe; it transforms man's heart, notions, and old disposition, and the way the whole world used to appear. Through the ages, only the God of today works in this manner, and only He speaks thus and comes to save man thus. From this time forward, man lives under the guidance of the word, shepherded and supplied by the word. All humanity has come to live in the world of the word, within the curses and the blessings of God's word, and there are even more human beings who have come to live under the judgment and chastisement of the word. These words and this work are all for the sake of man's salvation, for the sake of fulfilling God's will, and for the sake of changing the original appearance of the world of old creation. God created the world with the word, leads men from all over the universe with the word, and again conquers and saves them with the word. Finally, He shall use the word to bring the entire world of old to an end. Only then is the management plan wholly complete. Throughout the Age of Kingdom, God uses the word to do His work and achieve the results of His work; He does not work wonders or perform miracles; He merely does His work through the word. Because of the word, man is nourished and supplied; because of the word, man gains knowledge and true experience. Man in the Age of Word has truly received exceptional blessings. He suffers no physical pain and simply enjoys the bountiful supply of the word of God; without needing to go seeking or journeying forth, from the midst of his ease he sees the appearance of God, hears Him speak with His own mouth, receives what He supplies, and watches Him personally doing His work. These are things that men in ages past were unable to enjoy, and these are blessings that they could never receive" (The Word Appears in the Flesh).

The Lord Jesus said, "Truly I say to you, Except you be converted, and become as little children, you shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven" (Matthew 18:3).

Cheng Nuo, a Christian, never stops seeking to be an honest person. After several years of undergoing God's work, she tells lies much less frequently and works for the church from early in the morning to late at night, suffering and expending herself. But when her husband is seriously injured in an unfortunate accident, misunderstandings and complaints of God begin to grow in her heart and she loses her desire to perform her duty. Through God testing and exposing her, Cheng Nuo reads God's words and reflects on herself. She sees that even though she lies less frequently since becoming a believer, craftiness and deceitfulness are still within her heart, and expending herself for God has been to conduct a transaction with God, seeking blessings and reward; her selfish, deceitful satanic disposition is still deeply entrenched, and she is not an honest person who brings God joy. She later gains an understanding of her deceitful nature by seeking the truth and finds the path to becoming an honest person and a person of God's kingdom …

The Word of God | "Three Admonitions" | How to Be a Loyal Servant of God

The Word of God | "Three Admonitions"

Almighty God says, "As a believer in God, you should be loyal to none other than Him in all things and be able to conform with His will in all things. Nevertheless, although everyone understands this doctrine, these truths that are most apparent and basic, as far as man is concerned, cannot fully be seen in him, thanks to his sundry afflictions, such as ignorance, absurdity, and corruption. Therefore, before deciding upon your end, I ought first to tell you a few things, which are of the utmost importance to you. … In your lives I see much that you do that is irrelevant to the truth, and so I am expressly asking you to become servants of the truth and not be enslaved by wickedness and ugliness. Do not trample on the truth or defile any corner of the house of God. This is My admonition to you."

Gospel Movie (Trailer) | "Faith in God 2 – After the Church Falls"

Yu Congguang is an evangelist who makes a dangerous escape from a CCP mass arrest. Afterward, he makes his way to the home of Three-Self Patriotic Movement Christian Chen Song'en. Chen Song'en's Three-Self Patriotic Movement church is demolished by the CCP, and some in the church, after listening to the teachings of their pastors and elders, pray for the CCP regime, believing that by doing so, they are keeping the words of the Lord Jesus, "Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you" (Matthew 5:44). However, many believers are confused, because despite the fact that they prayed for blessings for the CCP for so many years, the CCP not only failed to repent, but even demolished their church. They wonder: Does praying for the CCP actually accord with God's will? The congregation argues about the question but can't reach a conclusion. Later, through reading God's words and the fellowship of Yu Congguang and his associate, Chen Song'en and the others learn the true meaning of the Lord Jesus' teaching to "love your enemies." things of your own flesh,
fully devote to the word of God,
eat and drink His word,
search for His will and truth.

Christian Song 2018 | "The Principles for Seeking the True Way"

What basic principles point out the true way?
See if the Spirit works, if truth is expressed;
see who is testified, and what it brings to you.
For belief in God means belief in God’s Spirit.
Faith in God incarnate is faith in the fact that
He’s the embodiment of the Spirit of God,
He is God’s Spirit who takes the form of flesh,
He is the Word that now has become flesh.

gospel,God’s love,word of God,the last days,Christ

I
God's kingdom is expanding
in humanity's midst.
It is forming in humanity's midst.
It is standing up in humanity's midst.
There is not any force
that can destroy God's kingdom.
People in the kingdom of today,
which of you is not
one of the human race,
or lies outside the human condition?
When God's new starting point
is announced to the multitude,
how will humanity react?
You've seen with your own eyes
the state of mankind.
Do you still harbor hopes
of enduring forever in this world?

Gospel Song 2018 "All Things Are in God's Hand"

songs of praise to God | "All Things Are in God's Hand"

I
God had once said such words:
What God says counts and shall come to pass,
can’t be changed by anyone.
No matter if it’s words said before
or words yet to be said,
they all shall be fulfilled,
so that everyone can see
everything in the universe is determined by God.
What is not in the hands of God?
Anything that God says will be done.
Who is able to change the will of God?
Nothing can hinder God’s plan from moving ahead.
God is working at all times.
All things are in God’s hand.
